Role outline: Assessment Team Social Worker
As part of this team, you will respond to referrals from the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH), conduct Child and Family Assessments, and handle section 47 (Child Protection) inquiries. Your expertise will inform decisions on whether a child needs help or protection. Based on your assessments, you will help develop multi-agency Child Protection or Child in Need Plans, or recommend a Core Assessment if necessary.
Role outline: District Child Protection Team Social Worker
You will work with children of all ages who are subject to Child in Need or Child Protection Plans, or who have a Child and Family Assessment. Collaborating with various agencies, you'll manage and progress the child's plan, coordinating and monitoring services to promote positive change in the child's environment. You will respond to risks with support from your team members, including Team Managers, Family Support Workers, and Practice Consultants.
