Reporting to the Technology Portfolio Manager the Delivery Project Manager will be responsible for driving and delivering effective software development or Technology infrastructure initiatives within a structured stage gate process, ensuring successful project initiation, planning, execution and closure.
Representing the PMO and working in close collaboration with business stakeholders and other team members, you will ensure projects remain aligned with organisational goals and standards.
Previous experience of project delivery in a supply chain, logistics, warehousing or distribution related environment, including specifically ERP’s and/or SaaS implementations would be very advantageous.
The Technology team currently work a hybrid model with time in the office and at home, with travel to meetings, suppliers and offices throughout the ETEL estate depending on the needs of the business.
* 5+ years’ experience within a Technology Project Management role
* Experience of SaaS project delivery/implementations gained in a Supply Chain, Logistics, Distribution or Warehousing environment would be very advantageous
* Preferred, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Suite, MS Project and /or equivalent
* Significant experience managing 3rd party venders and partner suppliers.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to work effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.
* Proven ability to create a compelling narrative that engages project participants.
* Self-motivated, decisive, with the ability to adapt to change and competing demands.
* Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
* Team-building skills with technical and non-technical staff
* Degree in Business, Project Management, or related field
* PRINCE 2 Practitioner Certification / APM Project Management Qualification (PMQ) or equivalent
* Full UK Cat B drivers licence desirable
