Role Overview: The HR Generalist will manage the daily functions of the Human Resources (HR) department, encompassing full-cycle recruiting, benefits administration, employee relations, performance management, and adherence to labor laws. This role requires a balance of administrative duties, strategic thinking, and strong interpersonal skills to promote a positive and productive work environment. Key Responsibilities: Recruitment: Coordinate and execute full-cycle recruiting efforts, including creating and posting job descriptions, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and managing candidate communications. Onboarding: Conduct new-hire orientations and facilitate a seamless onboarding process, including preparing new-hire paperwork and ensuring employees are set up in the HRIS (Human Resources Information System). Offboarding: Administer the exit process, including conducting exit interviews, processing final paperwork. Benefits: Review and administer employee benefits program. Payroll Support: Assist with payroll processing, ensuring accurate data entry for new hires, terminations, leaves, and salary/benefit changes. Advising: Serve as the first point of contact for employee and manager questions regarding HR policies, procedures, and basic employment law interpretation. Conflict Resolution: Assist in resolving employee relations issues, including conflict mediation, administering disciplinary actions, and managing grievance procedures. Performance: Coordinate and track the performance review process, ensuring timely and consistent application across the organisation. Policy Implementation: Interpret, communicate, and enforce HR policies and procedures; assist in the maintenance and distribution of the Employee Handbook. HRIS & Record Keeping: Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date employee records and HRIS data; generate standard and ad-hoc reports on HR metrics (e.g., turnover, absenteeism).
