Your Role as a Science Teacher (ECT)

Teach Science across Key Stages 3 and 4, using engaging and effective teaching strategies.

Bring science to life through practical activities, demonstrations, and real-world applications.

Monitor student progress, adapt lessons to suit a range of learning needs, and provide constructive feedback.

Work closely with your mentor and colleagues to develop your confidence and teaching skills.

Take part in enrichment opportunities such as science clubs, themed days, or trips.

A Science Teacher with (or expecting to receive) Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
