Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Nurse to join our team. As a Nursery Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing quality care and education to children in our nursery. Responsibilities:
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues
- Experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting
- Drive the implementation of the nursery's curriculum and activities
- Provide leadership and guidance to other nursery staff members
- Manage daily routines and ensure the safety and well-being of all children
- Create a nurturing and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow
- Support children's social, emotional, physical, and intellectual development
- Conduct observations and assessments to monitor each child's progress
- Collaborate with parents to ensure open communication and involvement in their child's learning journey
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of EYFS
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Experience in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities
- Ability to work well as part of a team and build positive relationships with colleagues, parents, and children
- A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development
- Valid childcare qualification or equivalent experience
