Goldfinch Café is a vibrant and creative hub in Westbury-on-Trym, Bristol. Our café is a warm, welcoming space that blends great food and coffee with community spirit, creativity, and sustainability. Goldfinch Café is a destination for families, creatives, and locals alike.
We are looking for a Café Manager to lead our team and ensure we continue to provide exceptional food, coffee, and service while maintaining a friendly, community-focused atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities
* Leadership & Team Management:
* Recruit, train, and manage a team of baristas and café staff.
* Lead by example to create a positive, collaborative, and professional work environment.
* Maintain a welcoming and vibrant atmosphere for customers.
* Handle customer queries and feedback in a professional and friendly manner.
* Oversee the daily running of the café, ensuring cleanliness, efficiency, and excellent food and drink quality.
* Manage inventory, stock ordering
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food hygiene standards.
* Monitor and manage daily takings.
* Work closely with the Goldfinch Create and Play team to align café operations with the studio's creative vision and events.
* Support the introduction of seasonal menus, promotions, or events.
