Job Description

Payroll Executive (Hybrid)

3. Manage and process payroll for a portfolio of clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
4. Ensure timely submission of payroll data to HMRC and other relevant bodies.
5. Respond to client queries regarding payroll and provide professional guidance.
6. Prepare and distribute payslips, P45s, and other payroll documentation.
7. Maintain up-to-date records and ensure data confidentiality and security.
8. Support the reconciliation of payroll reports with accounting records.
9. Identify and implement improvements to payroll processes and systems.
10. Stay informed about changes in payroll legislation and advise clients accordingly.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Payroll Executive (Hybrid) should have:

11. Experience in managing payroll processes, end to end ownership
12. Proficiency in payroll software and strong IT skills, including Excel.
13. A solid understanding of PAYE, NI, pensions, and other payroll-related legislation.
14. High attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure.
15. Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain client relationships.
16. An analytical mindset and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
17. Happy to commute to Reading (potentially more office based within the probation period for training and development purposes)
