Enable young people to maximise and sustain their income by ensuring that all benefit claims are completed accurately and promptly and maintained.
* To undertake an in depth needs assessment identifying holistic needs and identifying risk factors for young people.
* To ensure daily core tasks are undertaken to a professional standard including key work sessions, workshops, room checks
* To ensure reports are written to a professional standard including daily summaries, monthly reports, case review notes etc.
* Empower young people to improve their life skills through the delivery of the Anaco support and development model.
* Provide regular structured outcome-focused support and development sessions and respond appropriately to changing or crisis situations.
* Ensure that all support offered to young people is delivered in line with contractual obligations and in accordance with best practice models within Anaco and the Anaco's Code of Conduct.
* Enable young people to manage risk and access relevant support to make positive changes, develop skills and enable them to live independently.
* Ensure that the maximum number of young people achieve a qualification from college or external training programmes by offering positive encouragement and practical support.
* To empower young people to identify and maximise move on options and to continue to provide ongoing support to them through the transition period. To carry this work out in accordance with contract requirements and Anaco's policy and procedures.
* Facilitate and empower young people in service, by accompanying them to appointments where necessary as well as attempting to link young people to local community support services where possible.
* Ensure all aspects of young people files and service files are at Anaco's required professional standard and that all aspects of the Data Protection Act followed.
* Ensure all young people accessing the service have a wide range of opportunities to participate in service development
* Respond in a suitable manner to the welfare of young people including child protection and vulnerable adult issues, in accordance with local requirements and Anaco'spolicies and procedures.
* Ensure the premises are maintained to a high standard, and meet all legal and statutory requirements to operate safely, effectively and efficiently. Ensure that all maintenance needs are reported and progressed in accordance with agreed timeframes.
* To work as part of a team to aid in the preparation of accommodation, this may include some cleaning duties.
* To carry out any other reasonable requests by management, consistent with the nature and grade of the role.
