Role: Premises Officer x2
Location: Brook Mead Academy, Leicester
Hours: x1 Full time, 37.5 hours per week
x1 20 hours per week (4 hours per day)
Pay: £13.69 per hour
The Supply Register are working exclusively with Brook MEAD Academy in Leicester, part of The MEAD Educational Trust to recruit x2 Premises Officers on a temporary, long term basis starting in September.
A School Premises Officer is responsible for the upkeep, security, and maintenance of the school's buildings and grounds. They ensure a safe and functional environment for students, staff, and visitors. This includes tasks like locking and unlocking the building, minor repairs, health and safety checks, and managing contractors.
Responsibilities
* Locking/unlocking of the site/building gates and doors and ensure the safe custody of keys,fobs and access cards.
* Carry out audits of facilities.
* Carry out reactive and planned maintenance of facilities.
* Participate in the Health & Safety Policy of the schooland report any dangers or hazards encountered.
* Carry out Litter picking and assisting cleaning teams as required.
* Escorting of sub-contractors as required.
Requirements
* Previous experience in a similar role
* Must have the Right to Work in the UK
* Must hold an Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or be willing to process one
* Must be able to provide a minimum of 2 references and cover the last 2 years of employment
