PERMANENT/FULL-TIME – 36 HOURS PER WEEK
We are seeking a Head of IT to lead the College’s IT Services, network, and reprographics department (Print Room). This role involves developing and managing these services, delivering the College’s Digital Strategy, modernising IT infrastructure, supporting new initiatives and technologies, and ensuring the security and integrity of the network.
To Be Successful In This Role, You Will
1. Hold an ITIL foundation or equivalent certificate in IT service management.
2. Have experience in developing and leading IT strategy delivery.
3. Have experience managing in-house and outsourced IT teams and services.
4. Prove experience maintaining robust IT and network security arrangements.
5. Successfully deliver projects requiring IT solutions.
6. Manage and influence third-party contracts.
7. Lead stakeholder management and an effective IT service desk.
8. Experience in IT governance, risk management, and compliance.
9. Knowledge of cybersecurity, data protection, and GDPR compliance.
10. Develop and manage IT budgets, resources, and procurement processes.
11. Be familiar with disaster recovery planning and business continuity strategies.
12. Have extensive knowledge of Cloud technologies, including Office 365 and Microsoft Azure.
