Litigation Paralegal - Walsall
Our client is a reputable West Midlands law firm seeking to appoint a Litigation Paralegal to join its Walsall office.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for litigation and a strong understanding of the legal framework to develop their career in a supportive and professional environment.
The Role
You’ll be working closely with experienced solicitors, providing vital support on a wide range of cases. A solid grasp of the Civil Procedure Rules, Solicitors Regulation Authority policies and other relevant legislation will be essential to succeed in this role.
Key Responsibilities
1. Conduct legal research, initial case assessments and pre-claim investigations
2. Draft legal documents including pleadings and statements of case; prepare and file pre-issue documentation with the court
3. Organise case files, manage deadlines and carry out general administrative duties
4. Prepare and collate exhibits, documents, evidence and legal briefs
5. Source and gather relevant information to support case development
6. Liaise professionally with clients, colleagues and third parties
7. Assist senior solicitors on more complex claims
About You
Our client is looking for a litigation paralegal who is proactive, organised and committed to delivering high-quality support. Ideally, you will have:
1. At least 1 year of experience in a similar legal support role (desirable but not essential)
2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
3. The ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities
4. A discreet and professional approach when handling sensitive information
5. Excellent organisational skills with a methodical work style
6. A self-motivated attitude and a genuine interest in litigation
