The Role: As Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the financial operations, ensuring robust financial reporting, and supporting strategic decision-making. Leading a dedicated team, you will be responsible for maintaining financial integrity and supporting international programmes through accurate financial insight and reporting. Key Responsibilities: Manage and mentor a small finance team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports for internal stakeholders and external partners. Oversee statutory reporting, audit processes, and compliance with UK Charity Commission requirements. Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities across international programmes. Maintain robust financial controls and contribute to continuous process improvements. Act as a key business partner to internal departments and international field offices. Candidate Profile: Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent). Demonstrable experience in both management accounting and financial reporting within the charity or not-for-profit sector, ideally with international exposure. Proven track record of effective team leadership and staff development. Strong understanding of charity SORP and fund accounting. Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels. A values-driven approach with a genuine interest in the not-for-profit sector.
