We have an exciting opportunity to join #TeamEMR as an Occupational Health Office and Systems Manager. This is an operational office-based role at our Occupational Health & Wellbeing Centre in Derby
In this role, you will contribute to the delivery of a high-quality Occupational Health service by leading an efficient and effective administrative function. Alongside managing systems and data, you will support employee wellbeing initiatives and enable the clinical team to deliver the best possible service.
This role includes line management responsibility for the administration team, ensuring high standards of customer service and consistent operational performance.
What else you’ll be involved in:
Operational leadership & service delivery
1. Lead the Occupational Health administration function, ensuring a high-quality, efficient service
2. Ensure systems and processes meet service level agreements and support clinicians and customers
3. Support the achievement and maintenance of SEQOHS accreditation
Systems & continuous improvement
4. Manage and develop Occupational Health systems to drive efficiency and service improvement
5. Work with stakeholders to enhance systems in line with the EMR digital strategy
6. Partner with IT to ensure system performance, upgrades and business continuity
7. Deliver in house training on Occupational Health systems and processes
8. Delivery of briefings to wider internal stakeholders on changes to Occupational Health procedures
Data, reporting & governance
9. Maintain the integrity and compliance of the Occupational Health medical database
10. Produce reports and analysis to support governance and regulatory requirements
11. Deliver data quality audits, including regular reporting cycles
People leadership & customer experience
12. Lead and develop the administration team to deliver a high standard of service
13. Manage performance to ensure a consistent, customer-focused approach
Health, safety & wellbeing
14. Support the delivery of the health and wellbeing strategy
15. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to infection prevention and control standards
What we’re looking for
16. Experience managing administrative or operational functions, ideally within Occupational Health or a healthcare environment
17. Strong systems and data management capability, including reporting and analysis
18. Experience of leading and developing teams
19. Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders across clinical, HR and IT functions
20. Knowledge of data governance, confidentiality and compliance standards
21. A continuous improvement mindset with a focus on service quality and efficiency
