The Studio
This London-based design studio specialises in airport and travel retail environments, working with international retailers, operators and airport authorities around the world. Their work focuses on shaping commercial spaces within terminals - from duty free stores to wider retail environments -helping brands translate their identity into engaging physical experiences for passengers. Projects typically run from early concept through to rollout, combining strong retail design thinking with a clear understanding of passenger flow, brand experience and commercial performance.
The Opportunity
The studio is looking for a Retail Interior Designer to support the team across a number of travel retail and airport projects. The role is largely concept-led, helping shape the overall look and feel of retail environments. You will develop moodboards, sketches and early design ideas while exploring different layout options before refining the preferred scheme and spatial direction of the project. You will collaborate closely with the in-house 3D and architecture teams as the design evolves, ensuring the design intent carries through into visualisations and technical development. While the focus is very much on strong concept design, an interest in joinery exploration or technical drawing would be beneficial.
The team works predominantly remotely, with most people working from home and typically coming into the studio around one day a week for collaboration and team catch-ups. The studio works primarily in Vectorworks, although designers with strong AutoCAD experience would also be considered and supported in learning the software.

• Experience working on retail or branded environments
• An interest in travel retail or airport environments
