Job Purpose
* Support a varied client portfolio, working closely with the Senior Management team to ensure budgets, deadlines and clients’ expectations are met
* Supervision and preparation of management accounts
* Involvement in ad-hoc work projects to further support Senior Managers and Directors
* Oversee client workflow and internal management of resources
* Supervise junior staff by reviewing work and supporting their professional development
* Build trusted relationships with clients, dealing with queries quicky and effectively
* Identify new processes and ways to increase efficiency across the wider department
* Research and interpret changes to taxation and accounting regulations
* Champion your own professional development, enthusiastically undertaking training opportunities where possible

Job Requirements
* ACCA / ACA qualified, part qualified or studying
* Qualified by experience would also be considered
* A proven track record of managing a client portfolio within practice
* Strong working knowledge of software such as Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage
* Excellent financial modelling and data interpretation skills
* Up-to-date knowledge of tax legislation
* A team player who can also work autonomously
* A hands-on, can-do attitude towards problem-solving
* Self-motivated and able to manage your own deadlines and workflow
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
* Keen to progress within the firm by learning from the team
