About the role:
As a Sales Engineer UK, you will be responsible for leading the overall capture strategy, offer development, and contract negotiation process associated with opportunities under $5M (including formal offers and budgetary estimates).
You will report to the Sr Director Sales and be located at Springfields.
Key Responsibilities:
* Meet sales targets by growing a sales pipeline and collaborating with accounts and products to meet company objectives.
* Achieve financial objectives for the Business Segment product portfolio, including Margin As-Sold, Order Entry, and opportunity pipeline growth.
* Develop and maintain technical and sales knowledge to support product portfolio needs within the assigned business segment.
* Interface with the Customer Solution Manager from the Segment.
* Support the opportunity development sales funnel from identification through offer development and contract closure.
* Update CRM weekly to manage the pipeline from bid/no-bid review to contract award.
* Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external customer personnel, understanding their objectives and expectations.
* Maintain comprehensive knowledge of Westinghouse products/services.
* Lead sales strategies for the assigned offer.
* Develop offers, identify commercial risks, and implement risk mitigation measures with support functions.
Qualifications:
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
* Understanding of Westinghouse roles, responsibilities, and policies.
* Commercial acumen and project management skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft D365, PowerBI, PRIME, SAP, and Adobe Pro.
* Knowledge of nuclear utility buying practices.
* Limited domestic travel may be required.
