Academy Casual Coach Cheltenham Town FC Academy Cheltenham Town FC Academy is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Academy Casual Coach to support the delivery of our Academy training and games programme. This role plays a key part in the football and holistic development of young players, working in line with the club’s coaching and playing philosophy Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver age-appropriate training sessions aligned with the Academy curriculum Support match-day delivery as a co-coach Design and implement Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) Provide regular feedback to Phase and Cell Lead Coaches Commit to ongoing CPD and personal development Uphold safeguarding standards and promote player welfare Role Details Contract: Casual / Sessional Hours: Evenings and weekends (including fixtures) Locations: Cheltenham Town FC Training Ground and partner venues Pay: Sessional rate (in line with National Living Wage) Travel: Regular travel to fixtures required Essential Criteria UEFA B Licence (or above) FA Safeguarding & Emergency First Aid in Football Experience in Academy football coaching for 2 or more years or ex professional player looking to progress in coaching Strong communication, work ethic, and passion for youth development UK driving licence and enhanced DBS clearance This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing Category 3 Academy, working alongside a committed and experienced staff team dedicated to providing the best possible development pathway for young players About The Candidate UEFA B Coaching Licence or above Advanced Youth Award FA Youth Award Safeguarding and Protecting Children Emergency First Aid EFAiF - Emergency First Aid in Football (or working towards) Desirable About The Club Cheltenham Town Football Club is an equal opportunities employer and is committed to ensuring fairness, inclusion and respect for all.
