Principal CFD Modelling Consultant To meet our growning demand for high-fidelity modelling in the water industry, we have created a number of new opportunities. As a Principal CFD Modeller you will drive innovation, technical leadership, and high-quality delivery across our water and maritime sector projects. You will be an integral part of our established CFD team, driving innovation, shaping strategy and providing technical oversight to a broad portfolio of high profile infrastructure projects. Your remit will include: Innovation & Capability Development: * Drive development of advanced CFD methods, automation, HPC/cloud workflows, and digital engineering tools. * Contribute to Jacobs' CFD technology strategy (software, hardware, cloud infrastructure, training). * Lead R&D initiatives, pilot new approaches, and develop reusable tools, libraries, and templates. * Build collaborations with universities and research partners to advance CFD capability. Technical Leadership: * Lead complex CFD modelling projects. * Develop robust CFD modelling strategies, numerical setups, and QA processes. * Conduct and oversee technical checks, peer reviews for modelling outputs and reports. * Translate engineering challenges into high fidelity CFD solutions and workflows. Project Delivery: * Prepare scopes, methodologies, estimates, bids, client deliverables. * Manage delivery of CFD projects, ensuring technical excellence, robust change management processes and commercial success. * Be seen as the key technical advisor and subject matter expert to Client and project delivery teams.
