Shared Service Centre (Revenues & Benefits) Benefits Team Leader We have a number of exciting opportunities to join our Revenues & Benefits Team at East Staffordshire Borough Council. Following the recent retirement of a number of key members of staff, and the imminent Go Live of a new integrated system, we are now seeking motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join us working with the Revenues, Benefits & Customer Contact Manager to form a new management team to support the delivery of modern Revenues, Benefits and Customer Services to residents. This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced managers within a Revenues and Benefits department, who have significant experience and are eager to develop further and play an important role in supporting the community of East Staffordshire. Prior knowledge of the Civica Revenues & Benefits system would also be an advantage. These roles will provide hands-on experience in: Managing and organising a team; Taking the lead on the technical and complex aspects related to your service specialism Communicating, both in writing and verbally, as you interact with the public, businesses, colleagues and external stakeholders; Teamwork and independent decision-making, managing priorities and meeting deadlines; Data analysis, forecast planning, preparation and presentation of data to senior management and in relation to statutory returns; Supporting service wide initiatives and working directly with experienced professionals Demonstrating your skills in problem-solving, organisation, and working under pressure.
