We are seeking a Lecturer in Sociology and Social Policy to contribute to our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. We welcome applicants with backgrounds in society, culture and media, disability studies, social policy, or quantitative research methods, but all areas of expertise are considered. The role involves working with a team to deliver high-quality, research-based teaching and contributing to pedagogic research projects within the School.
This post offers development opportunities for PGRs, providing experience in teaching and scholarship, alongside professional development and training resources. It is designed to enhance employability and serve as a stepping stone into a career in Higher Education. Applicants should be close to submitting their thesis, awaiting their viva, or have completed their PhD within the last 12 months.
