Housekeeper - Torquay Housekeeper Housekeeping - Vane Hill Care Home Contract: Part Time Salary: 12.71 Per Hour Shift Type: Days Contracted hours: 30 Vane Hill Care Home is a specialist service in Torquay, set across two Victorian houses overlooking Torbay. The home provides structured, enablement focused support for adults living with mental health conditions, including Korsakoff's syndrome and Alcohol-Related Brain Damage, promoting independence, stability and wellbeing. Housekeeper 12.71 per hour Contracted hours to be confirmed Pension, paid DBS, uniform provided Onsite parking 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract) Role Overview As a Housekeeper, you will play a key role in maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment for residents, visitors and colleagues. Your work will directly support residents' comfort, dignity and overall wellbeing within the home. You will carry out daily cleaning duties across all areas of the home, ensuring high standards of hygiene and infection control are consistently maintained. This includes cleaning bedrooms, communal areas, bathrooms, furniture and fixtures, as well as supporting effective waste management. You will also support laundry services, ensuring items are handled, cleaned and returned correctly. Working closely with the wider team, you will help create a well organised and comfortable environment where residents feel at home.
