Alongside world-leading HVOR customers, Sensata is creating products that improve the performance, reliability, and cost of battery electric systems — and the next generation of trucks, buses, and stationary storage systems that use them. The Program Manager is responsible for developing and executing a portfolio of projects and programs for the organization. You will ensure that every aspect of the program is completed on time and within budget, acting as a liaison between project team members and key stakeholders.
General Responsibilities
1. Lead multiple project activities throughout their lifecycles to ensure completion within scope, quality, time, and budget constraints.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and project managers to plan and develop scope, deliverables, resources, work plans, budgets, and timelines for new initiatives.
3. Develop and control deadlines, budgets, and activities.
4. Apply change, risk, and resource management techniques.
5. Resolve higher scope issues within projects.
6. Assess program strengths and identify areas for improvement.
7. Ensure goals related to customer satisfaction and team performance are met.
8. Implement and manage changes to achieve project goals.
9. Facilitate stakeholder meetings to ensure transparent communication regarding project issues and decisions.
10. Produce accurate and timely reports on program status throughout its lifecycle.
11. Analyze program risks.
Experience / Qualifications
* A university degree (Bachelor's) or equivalent relevant work experience.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment handling multiple tasks.
* Strong communication skills (oral, written, presentation).
* Excellent organization, planning, and time management skills.
* High ethical standards and integrity.
* Self-accountability for achieving goals and standards.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
* Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills for working with all organizational levels and external partners.
Additional Leadership and Industry Experience
* Leading a multi-functional global team to define system and product roadmaps aligned with customer and business priorities.
* Developing business cases for new opportunities.
* Implementing product cost roadmaps in line with company priorities.
* Leading change management projects per customer and company requirements.
* Managing customer-facing projects.
* Overseeing new technology developments in the heavy vehicle industry.
Preferred Qualifications
* At least 3+ years of experience in Project and/or Program Management.
* Experience working in an Agile development environment.
* Experience leading hardware, software, and system development projects.
* Background in automotive or fast-paced technology development environments (electric vehicle experience preferred).
* Knowledge of cybersecurity and functional safety requirements for the automotive industry is desirable.
