We have an exciting opportunity for a Volunteer Manager to join the Staffordshire team, working 37.5 hours a week.

Location: Churchill House, Stoke on Trent, ST1 3JJ or St Johns House, Stafford, ST16 3RZ

Details:

* Full time, 37.5 hours/week, Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm
* Salary: £26,830.20 per annum
* Contract: Permanent
* Enhanced Police vetting required

About the role:

This role can be based at either of our offices in Stoke-on-Trent or Stafford.

As a Volunteer Manager, you will:

* Recruit and retain community and workplace volunteers for victim services across Staffordshire & Stoke-on-Trent
* Complete induction and accreditation processes with volunteers
* Ensure volunteers deliver effective support to victims and witnesses of crime and major incidents, in liaison with Team Leaders
* Audit volunteer activity against quality standards and address any issues
* Recognize and reward volunteer contributions
* Prepare reports for funders on volunteering impact, including case studies and digital promotion

You will need:

* Proven management, coaching, and mentoring skills
* Experience working within voluntary settings
* Effective communication skills (written, verbal, numerical)

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
