Job description
Role:
1. Manufacture, repair or modify complex Radar, Avionics and Underwater electronic assemblies.
2. Skills to exceed industry standards such as IPC and ANSIJ.
3. Requires flexibility to move between product range/contract.
4. Able to work with no supervision and limited engineering support.
Role Responsibilities:
5. Assemble/process electronic assemblies in accordance with defined work instructions or detailed technical drawings.
6. Repair/modify current and legacy electronic assemblies.
7. Be able to work with limited data utilising experience.
8. Use business systems to record product history/compliance.
9. Support and assist in the training of personnel.
10. Work unsupervised
Knowledge:
11. May have previous experience as a "Production Operative".
12. Have a good understanding of an assembly discipline such as wiring, fitting, PCB assembly, or similar.
13. Have a medium range of product experience and medium expertise in discipline.
14. Understand and comply with all relevant Business Management System (BMS) procedures.
Skills:
15. Able to perform assembly/disassembly or modification tasks on electronic or mechanical components, subassemblies and systems - encompassing new build, and repairs products.
Qualifications:
16. Be formally qualified in appropriate Workmanship Standard e.g. ANSI J, IPC or similar (Preferred on qualification - experience is essential)
