About the role
We're looking for a Salesforce Software Engineer to join a growing technology team working on a large-scale Salesforce CRM and integration platform. The focus of this role is on building reliable, scalable solutions that support both customer-facing journeys and internal users, with a strong emphasis on automation, quality, and long-term platform health.
You'll be involved throughout the full delivery lifecycle, from understanding business needs and shaping technical solutions, through to development, testing, release, and ongoing improvement. This role suits someone who enjoys thinking beyond short-term fixes and takes pride in improving systems over time.
What you'll be doing
* Designing, developing, and enhancing custom Salesforce functionality using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flow, and related technologies
* Working closely with business stakeholders, analysts, and other engineers to translate requirements into well-structured technical solutions
* Building and maintaining integrations between Salesforce and internal or third-party systems using APIs
* Writing and maintaining unit tests, supporting user acceptance testing, and troubleshooting complex issues
* Supporting releases across environments using version control and CI/CD pipelines
* Ensuring the platform remains secure, performant, and reliable as it evolves
* Providing guidance and technical support to users and helping upskill others where appropriate
What we're looking for
* Several years of hands-on experience developing on the Salesforce platform
* Strong knowledge of Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, Flow Builder, and related tooling
* Experience with Salesforce Industries / Vlocity and components such as OmniStudio, CPQ, product catalogues, or order management
* A solid understanding of web technologies including JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and SQL
* Experience designing and supporting integrations using REST or SOAP APIs
* Familiarity with modern development practices such as Git-based version control and CI/CD tooling
* Experience working in agile delivery teams
* Clear communication skills and confidence working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
