Happy Days Nursery in Swindon is seeking an experienced, motivated and professional Room Supervisor to join the team.
Your Role: As Room Supervisor, you’ll lead a dedicated team in one of our baby, toddler, or preschool rooms, each thoughtfully designed to reflect the developmental needs and interests of the children.
Responsibilities
* Guide your team in delivering high-quality care and education, rooted in our Where Children Shine curriculum and the EYFS framework.
* Create a safe, stimulating space where children are free to move, explore, and learn at their own pace – no bouncers, no forced seating, just authentic play.
* Support the nursery’s daily operations through strong organisation, planning, and prioritisation.
* Mentor and coach your team with empathy, using tools like peer observations and reflective meetings to foster growth.
* Build strong relationships with families, keeping them informed and involved in their child’s journey.
What Were Looking For
* Level 3 qualification in Early Years and experience leading a nursery room.
* A deep understanding of child development and a commitment to child-led learning.
* Proven ability to uphold safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery policies.
* Experience mentoring staff and supporting their professional development.
* A can-do attitude, creative thinking, and a genuine love for working with children and families.
