Are you an experienced Portfolio Underwriter seeking to drive performance, strengthen MGA partnerships, and build a meaningful proposition in a fast‑growing, data‑driven carrier? We are seeking an ambitious underwriter who can:
1. Lead portfolio performance across delegated authority programs
2. Run MGA oversight, monthly/quarterly reviews, and onboarding
3. Own data & reporting, including Power BI dashboards and reinsurer packs
4. Maintain risk & compliance with FCA/PRA requirements
5. Act as day‑to‑day contact for MGA partners and collaborate across internal teams
What you’ll bring
6. 3–7+ years in delegated authority underwriting, portfolio or coverholder oversight
7. Strong understanding of UK specialty markets and binding authorities
8. Confident with data analysis and BI tools
9. Excellent communication, organisation, and stakeholder skills
10. Comfortable building processes in a fast‑paced environment
ACII or progress towards, experience in project management, Lloyd’s and reinsurer reporting would additionally be beneficial.
