Job Purpose:
As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and nurturing relationships with the company’s most important customers. Acting as the main point of contact, you’ll play a crucial role in driving revenue growth, enhancing customer satisfaction, and ensuring long-term client retention.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Relationship Management
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned key accounts, building and maintaining strong, trusted relationships. Regular travel to customer sites will be required to support relationship development.
Account Growth and Sales Development
Identify opportunities to grow revenue within your accounts through upselling, cross-selling, and strategic solution selling aligned with client goals.
Contract Negotiation
Negotiate contracts and commercial terms to ensure mutually beneficial agreements while maximising value for the business.
Customer Engagement and Support
Handle customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and effective problem resolution.
Sales Reporting and Analysis
Monitor account performance, prepare sales reports, and analyse trends to guide account strategies and internal planning.
New Business Opportunities
Proactively explore additional opportunities within existing accounts by understanding customer needs, challenges, and future objectives.
Internal Collaboration
Work closely with internal teams—including Sales Support, Finance, and Professional Services—to deliver seamless service and support.
Performance Targets
Consistently strive to meet or exceed individual and team sales targets, contributing to the company’s overall growth and success.
Customer Retention and Satisfaction
Focus on long-term client engagement by delivering outstanding service and value that supports customer loyalty and retention.
The ideal Candidate:
· Two years of sales experience in a similar position (preferably in the Two-Way radio industry – but not essential)
· Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
· Self-motivated and organised
· Strong verbal and written communications skills
· Microsoft Office professional level experience
· Comfortable working with ERP systems e.g. Microsoft Dynamics, Business Central and/or SAP
· Current driving license
· Free parking
