Our client is an international defendant firm with offices across the UK. They are currently looking to strengthen their Manchester Casualty Fraud department and will consider qualified fraud solicitors or chartered legal executives at all levels with experience handling their own caseload of casualty fraud files. This is a hybrid position with up to 3 days work from home per week.
Your new role
This Casualty Fraud Solicitor position will see you responsible for:
* Handling your own caseload of casualty fraud claims.
* Handle interlocutory proceedings, case management conferences, and client meetings with professionalism and attention to detail.
* Support Partners in servicing existing clients, developing new business opportunities, and strengthening client relationships through technical expertise and innovative approaches.
* Attend court hearings, pre-trial meetings, and adhere strictly to court timetables and procedural requirements.
* Maintain high standards of file management, including drafting initial and updated reports, correspondence, and legal documentation.
* Ensure compliance with client-specific SLAs, particularly in relation to reporting and reserving protocols.
What you'll need to succeed
You must be a qualified solicitor or chartered legal executive with previous experience handling your own caseload of insurance fraud cases. Newly qualified applicants should have paralegal experience or have completed a seat in insurance fraud. Applicants should come from a defendant background. All levels of PQE will be considered.
