Location: Hybrid – Manchester /London/ Leeds/ Cheltenham

The Opportunity:

NCC Group is a leading global cybersecurity company dedicated to safeguarding critical infrastructure and systems within the industrials and transport sectors. Our mission is to provide innovative cybersecurity solutions that protect organizations from emerging threats, ensuring the continuous and secure operation of vital infrastructure and transportation networks worldwide. The company has deep industry relevant expertise in securing industrial systems and helping companies harness the business benefits of IT/OT convergence whilst maintaining security.

Key Accountabilities:

1. New Business Focus: Develop a plan to acquire net new logo business opportunities in assigned sectors within the Industrials vertical. Our focus is into a range of sectors such as Energy, Transportation and Manufacturing which are all undergoing significant change and need our help to navigate that change securely in line with regulations.

2. Generating New Business Opportunities: Create content to support new business development campaigns to continue to position NCC Group as a thought leader in Industrials adding value to prospects in the Industrial sectors to build trust and confidence in order to win new business.

3. Client Relationship Management: Work with some assigned accounts with growth potential where NCC Group has a relationship that requires reinvigorating and nurturing to ensure that the account is aware of the depth and breadth that NCC Group has to offer across managed security services, consulting and software security

4. Market Insights: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive intelligence, and emerging threats within the industrials and transport sectors to position our company as a leader in industrial cybersecurity. Understand the relevant regulatory landscape and any market conditions that will drive the imperative to focus on cyber security improvements.

5. Solution Development: Collaborate with internal technical and solutions teams to tailor our cybersecurity offerings to meet the unique needs of each client. Understand the specific market needs in the Industrials sector and build solutions that resonate with new customers in Industrials and help them to meet their cyber security goals. Develop commercial proposals to send to prospects and be able to subsequently present the solution.

6. Contract Negotiations: Lead contract negotiations, ensuring favourable terms for both the client and NCC group, while maintaining profitability.

7. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technical experts, marketing, and delivery teams, to deliver exceptional service and solutions to our clients. 

8. Forecasting and Reporting: Prepare accurate sales forecasts, reports, and account plans to communicate progress and opportunities to senior management.

9. Customer Satisfaction: Continuously monitor and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, addressing any issues or concerns proactively.

Qualifications and Experience:

19. Degree educated. 

20. Proven track record in business development and account management within the cybersecurity industry, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. 

21. Strong understanding of CNI sectors and cybersecurity challenges within these industries. 

22. Demonstrated success in selling complex cybersecurity solutions to strategic clients. 

23. Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. 

24. Proficiency in understanding and communicating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. 

25. Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team. 

26. A self-starter with strong problem-solving skills. 

27. Willingness to travel nationally and internationally, as needed
