* Farlingaye High School, Woodbridge, Suffolk IP12 4JX
* £24,804 per annum (£29,093 pro rata)
* 37 hours per week, 39 weeks per year*
* Fixed term 1 year contract initially (Temporary)

* Required from 1 September 2025
Hours: Monday to Thursday: 8.35am to 4.30pm and Friday: 8.40am to 4.30pm.
We are looking to appoint a Behaviour Manager. The role provides an essential aspect of our Inclusion process. You will work as part of a team in student support to ensure students have access to support throughout the school day. Assisting in managing the system of behaviour escalations, reporting mechanisms, detentions and exclusion processes and paperwork. Working alongside year co-ordinators, the SENDCO and external agencies to develop interventions for students whose behaviour is a barrier to learning and success at school.
Ideally you will have experience of empathising with students or young people who are experiencing difficulties academically, behaviourally or socially. You will have an understanding of the academic and social demands on young people.
It is essential that you have the ability to remain calm at all times, have an organised personality, a flexible approach and have the ability to cope with a wide range of tasks. IT skills are important, and you will need to be fully competent in the full range of Microsoft products and have English GCSE Grade C or above.
