Key Responsibilities
As an Apprentice Engineering Technician, you will be an integral part of our vibrant Engineering Team. This role promises a blend of hands-on experience and learning opportunities. Here’s what you can expect:
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Complete a comprehensive training program in both Electrical & Electronic and Mechanical engineering.
* Perform electrical wiring tasks, from lighting to high-speed manufacturing equipment.
* Assemble mechanical components such as pumps, motors, and valves.
* Conduct electrical control testing and fault finding.
* Participate in onsite installation, commissioning, and machine modifications.
* Carry out routine maintenance on modern food manufacturing equipment.
* Program PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers).

Qualifications:
Essential:
* Minimum of 4 GCSEs at A*-C grade or equivalent, including Maths, Science, and English.
* Completion of the first year of an engineering apprenticeship.
Experience/Knowledge:
Essential:
* A demonstrable interest in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical) through educational, vocational, or extra-curricular activities.
