Applications are invited from capable and committed Band 6 Mammography and General Radiographers to join the Imaging team based at the main Hospital site on the beautifulIsland of Guernsey, in the Channel Islands.
The role is based approx 40% in Mammography and 60% in General Xray.
Approximately 55,000 examinations are performed per annum by the Imaging Department their dynamicteam comprises five consultant radiologists, 20 radiographers, six admin/secretarial staff, five support staff and three nursing staff.
The department enables excellent opportunities for CPD and external study and trainingopportunities to postgraduate level.
The department operates an on-call system that facilitates a 24 hour service in which this post-holder would be expected to participate (4x 12 hr on-call sessions, from home, every 12 weeks and 1 x week of second on-call every 12 weeks) paid as overtime.
