With a strong reputation for technical excellence and innovation, they work with best-in-class security platforms and place a strong emphasis on quality design, compliance and collaboration. Due to continued growth within their Design Development function, they are now seeking a Security Systems Design Architect to strengthen their London-based team. Role Overview This is a design-focused role, responsible for taking tender-stage security concepts and developing them into fully detailed, build-ready security designs for project delivery teams and end clients. You will play a key role in shaping electronic security solutions across multiple projects, ensuring designs are technically robust, compliant with relevant standards, and commercially viable. The position involves regular engagement with internal stakeholders, delivery teams and clients, making it ideal for a confident designer who enjoys ownership and accountability. Key Responsibilities * Develop detailed electronic security designs from tender through to construction * Design integrated solutions across CCTV, access control, intruder alarms, intercoms and perimeter detection * Produce technical submittals, RFIs, BOMs and variation costings * Ensure designs meet relevant standards, codes of practice and client requirements * Support smooth handover from design to project delivery teams * Attend client meetings, workshops and post-tender presentations * Liaise with manufacturers, suppliers and internal departments * Provide technical guidance and support to colleagues within the design team Requirements * Proven experience in a Security Systems Design Architect / Security Designer role * Strong technical knowledge of electronic security systems * Experience designing solutions for commercial, enterprise, campus or data centre environments * Familiarity with leading platforms such as Genetec, Gallagher, Milestone, Axis, CCure, Avigilon, CEM, Honeywell or similar * Confident producing and reviewing technical documentation * Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach Desirable Qualifications * Manufacturer accreditations within the security industry * Exposure to AV, ICT infrastructure, IoT or networked systems * Relevant industry memberships or certifications At Secure & Recruit, we pride ourselves on delivering a trustworthy and personalised recruitment experience.
