Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Entry-Level Help Desk Technician to join our team on a part-time basis. This position is ideal for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in IT support while providing exceptional technical assistance to our internal staff and external clients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Respond to technical support requests via phone, email, or ticketing system.
* Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues in a timely and efficient manner.
* Provide basic support for operating systems, software applications, and peripheral devices.
* Assist with user account management, including password resets and account creation.
* Document issues, solutions, and work performed in the help desk ticketing system.
* Maintain a high level of customer service, ensuring end-users feel supported and valued.
* Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff as needed.
* Perform routine IT tasks, such as software installations, updates, and equipment setup.
Qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent (Associate degree or IT certification is a plus).
* Basic knowledge of Windows and/or macOS operating systems.
* Familiarity with common office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Workspace).
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
Preferred (But Not Required):
* Experience with help desk ticketing systems.
* Basic understanding of networking concepts (e.g., Wi-Fi, LAN, VPN).
* IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, ITIL, or equivalent.

Job Type: Part-Time, On-site position with the potential to transition to full time. On-site availability is required every Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Hourly Wage: $22.00-$28.00 depending on experience
