Applications are invited for the post of Senior Clinical Fellow in Paediatric ENT at Addenbrookes Hospital, part of Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. This post is available from 02 October 2024 for 12 months. Main duties of the job The Fellowship will require the appointee to demonstrate core skills. The post is based on a curriculum in Paediatric ENT surgery developing a skill set suitable for a Consultant with Specialist Interest in Childrens ENT. In order to be considered applicants must meet the following essential criteria: • FRCS or equivalent qualification • Completion of Specialty Registrar training in ENT in the UK or Eligibility for entry onto Specialist Register within 6 months of CCT at time of interview Please note that this posts do not carry Postgraduate Deans approval or training recognition. Full Registration and a Licence to Practice with the General Medical Council at time of appointment is required. Non-UK applicants must possess the IELTS/OET exam before obtaining a GMC licence to practice. Job responsibilities The main objective of this fellowship is to develop the skills of the Fellow to a level that will enable independent practice within a multidisciplinary team within paediatric ENT. To develop knowledge, leadership qualities, attitudes and communication skills that will enable the Fellow to develop after their consultant appointment. Particular emphasis will be placed on leading the MDT, coordinating and managing a busy unit.
