Job title: Senior Engineering Manager

What you’ll be doing:
1. Be responsible for the management of work within cost and budget.
2. Report on team progress and performance with an awareness of financial forecasting and estimating.
3. Oversee the Security Assurance Case.
4. Capture and agree technical requirements in accordance with company and programme processes.
5. Maintain compliant technical solutions against contractual requirements and regulations.
6. Provide technical input and appropriate consideration of product security activities and issues for LCM deliverables and Design Reviews, including Sub-Contract Design Reviews.
7. Capture and agree input to appropriate Verification and Qualification Plans.
8. Contribute to other project documentation, such as Training Needs Analysis (TNA), Technical Publications, Cyber Incident Plans, and Operating Instructions.
Your skills and experiences:
* Hold a relevant degree (or equivalent experience) in a relevant STEM subject or Information Security related field.
* Hold a CISSP (or able to achieve).
* Have relevant engineering lifecycle and Project Management knowledge and experience.
* A thorough understanding of information security principles and their potential impact on Product Systems.
* Be able to lead on the assessment of controls to support Product Security.
* Experience of consultancy on the application of Product Security/Information Security concepts to applicable technologies within the environment (or similar).
* Demonstrate experience of mentoring and/or providing support to others.
* Be a member of a professional institute.

The Product Security team:
The Senior Engineering Manager for Product Security (PSec) is the lead and focal point for all matters relating to security and information risk associated with the engineering delivery of the product. They are responsible for the high-level strategy, management, planning, estimating, and leadership of all PSec activities required to deliver a solution that meets the specified PSec contractual and regulatory requirements throughout the product lifecycle.
Additional information: We offer relocation support across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.
