Our client has an opportunity for a Director of Maintenance to join them on a permanent basis. You will be the nominated CAA Form 4 Post Holder responsible for managing and controlling all production and operational activities within the Part-145 approved wheel and brake maintenance organisation (MRO). Role: Director of Maintenance Location: Greater Manchester Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00-15:30 Salary: Discussed Upon Application What you'll be doing: Regulatory & Compliance Responsibilities: Act as the nominated Part-145 Form 4 Post Holder for production/maintenance activities. Ensure all maintenance activities comply with: CAA/ EASA Part-145 requirements, Approved Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE) and OEM and approved maintenance data. Maintain effective liaison with regulatory authorities when required. Ensure corrective actions arising from audits are implemented and effective. Lead all maintenance and overhaul operations for wheel and brake components. Ensure on-time delivery performance aligned with customer commitments. Develop operational strategies to improve throughput, turnaround time, and productivity. Monitor and improve shop capacity, labour utilisation, and workflow. Drive operational excellence and lean process improvements.
