Job Description
3. Manage the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
4. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to payroll.
5. Maintain and update payroll systems to reflect changes in employee data.
6. Handle queries from employees regarding payroll and deductions.
7. Collaborate with the Accounting & Finance department to reconcile payroll accounts.
8. Prepare payroll reports for management and external stakeholders.
9. Support audits by providing required payroll documentation and reports.
10. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance payroll efficiency.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Payroll Lead should have:
11. Proven experience in payroll management within the industrial or manufacturing sectors.
12. Strong knowledge of payroll systems and relevant software.
13. Familiarity with UK payroll legislation and compliance requirements.
14. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
15. Effective communication skills for liaising with teams across the organisation.
16. A proactive approach to identifying and resolving payroll issues.
