Job Description
We are seeking a Trust 25 Project Support Lead to take a lead role in the implementation and delivery of the Trust 25 project. The successful candidate will be responsible for improving the quality of practice across those working directly with children, young people, and their families. This role involves providing technical/professional expertise to Trust staff, managers, and leaders, as well as delivering training and continuing professional development to learners within development programs across the Trust.
Responsibilities
* Lead efforts to improve practice quality with staff working with children, young people, and families.
* Deliver and support professional development for learners, including working with parents, coaching, and training.
* Support and assess learners' development through training and learning opportunities.
* Coordinate and lead development programs, design and implement local induction, and model best practices.
* Design and implement learning activities aligned with staff needs.
* Collaborate with the Practice Academy team and Practice Hub to support the Practice Improvement Plan.
* Provide supervision and oversight to learners, developing support plans and CPD activities.
* Maintain knowledge of services working with children and families, including legislative requirements and best practices.
* Offer technical expertise to staff and managers, including case work support if needed.
* Support staff in delivering best practice interventions across services.
* Share knowledge of legislation, standards, guidance, and policies through learning opportunities.
* Ensure quality assurance and provide coaching/mentoring.
* Analyze learning needs and tailor training accordingly.
* Collect and report learning data, ensuring alignment with project goals.
* Use learning management systems to track and evaluate training impact.
* Deliver training and facilitate learning activities.
Requirements
Proven experience in quality assurance and reviewing services for children and young people.
Strong understanding of statutory and regulatory safeguarding requirements.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Commitment to championing the rights and well-being of children and young people.
