An exciting opportunity has arisen within Community Learning and Development (CLD) for a CLD Worker (Family Learning).
Working within the Community Learning & Development team, you will be responsible for the engagement of parents and carers of children at school in North Lanarkshire. You will deliver a range of community-based interventions such as family learning and adult learning opportunities working alongside families in a meaningful way, in line with current educational strategies.
In particular there will be emphasis on work with vulnerable families and communities, the GIRFEC pathway and the development of early intervention strategies.
An enthusiastic and motivated individual, you will have knowledge of current national and local developments in working with families, schools and communities as well as good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team and collaboratively with other services and organisations.
The post holder will also monitor and evaluate services provided through effective planning and contribute to the reporting requirements and the wider evaluation of the CLD service.
You must have a CLD Standards Council approved professional qualification in Community Learning & Development.
