We have an exciting opportunity for a Ward Clerk/Receptionist to join our friendly and dynamic team at Bishops Castle Community Hospital. This is a part-time position of 20 hours per week.
The postholder will provide telephone and reception duties, and will be the first point of contact for general enquiries from visitors, staff and patients. The postholder will also provide administration support duties to the administration team, the ward and other hospital departments as required.

To effectively deal with all incoming telephone calls via switchboard both internally and externally.
To act as first point of contact for staff, patients and visitors and deal effectively with any enquiries.
To input patient admission and discharges.
To assist the nursing staff with administration duties.
To book patient transport.
