Job Description
We are seeking a compassionateOccupational Therapist to join our team on afull-time basis.
This roving position is based at our Scarborough hub and will see you support our aged care consumers to improve their independence, social participation and engagement in meaningful occupations. Your well-honed communication, assessment, and problem-solving skills are easily demonstrated when you work in an inter-disciplinary team, as well as when making meaningful connections with aged care clients in the community.
Key responsibilities include:
* OT assessment and intervention across our Home Care and CHSP programs;
* Preparatory methods to support daily occupational performance;
* Education and training, including clients, staff and multidisciplinary teams;
* Responding to new referrals and changing needs of clients;
Desired Skills and Experience
Now... to ensure our consumers can get to work with you, it is essential you hold:
* Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy;
* AHPRA registration;
* Membership with OT Australia or WA Assoc. of Occupational Therapy (or be willing to obtain);
* NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain) and
