The Role
As an HGV Technician, you will be responsible for the service, maintenance, and repair of a range of heavy goods vehicles and associated equipment within a busy workshop environment.
Key responsibilities include:
* Carrying out routine servicing, inspections, and MOT preparation work
* Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults
* Completing fault finding and preventative maintenance
* Ensuring all vehicles are maintained to a high roadworthy standard
* Maintaining accurate service and repair records
* Working efficiently to meet workshop deadlines
The Candidate

Ideal background:
* Proven experience as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic, or similar
* Strong knowledge of heavy vehicle systems, electrics, and hydraulics
* Experience working with trucks, trailers, and commercial vehicles
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* HGV licence (desirable but not essential depending on role)
