Job Title: Risk Management Specialist
To support the Director Of Group Risk Management in minimizing group liabilities and protecting group assets through the implementation of insurance and risk management programs.
Main Tasks:
1. Support the DOGR in developing and implementing team strategy to optimize risk financing and transfer solutions, including renewal of group worldwide insurance programs.
2. Assist in the renewal processes, including completing applications and providing supplementary risk information.
3. Manage relationships with the global broker network and our worldwide businesses to ensure adherence to group policies on insurance purchase and broker appointment.
4. Coordinate the renewal information collection process, validating and verifying data to meet disclosure requirements.
5. Liaise with group stakeholders on insurable risk matters, enhancing understanding of global insurance programs and processes, and assess changes to the risk profile.
6. Collaborate with brokers to improve insurance administration processes.
7. Manage Pink Note, M&A, and due diligence processes.
8. Provide technical support to businesses, including insurance and risk management advice, contracts, wordings, and certificates.
9. Oversee property risk survey programs, including progressing risk improvement requirements and monitoring business performance in implementing recommendations.
10. Assist the DOGRM in identifying emerging insurable risks and evaluating insurance solutions to protect the group’s balance sheet.
11. Support DOGRM with management information for senior executive presentations and decision-making.
12. Develop and support remote/milton keynes-based direct reports (currently 2).
Requirements:
* At least 5 years of experience in the insurance market (broker or insurer) and/or risk management, managing complex risk financing and transfer processes, including global and multinational insurance programs.
* Ability to lead and manage risk management, financing, and transfer processes.
* Adaptability to a fast-moving environment.
* Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
* Ability to work effectively independently and with a diverse, geographically dispersed team.
