Prospero Teaching is looking for a dedicated and nurturing Early Years SEN Support Tutor to support a 4‑year‑old pupil within a school setting in the BH21 area. This is a mornings‑based role, approximately 10 hours per week, starting ASAP.
You’ll be providing 1:1 support, helping this young learner engage positively with their Early Years education and reach their full potential.
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Planning and delivering engaging sessions tailored to Early Years needs.
* Supporting emotional regulation, engagement and confidence.
* Monitoring, assessing, and recording progress.
* Providing weekly progress updates.
* Recording attendance accurately.
* Bringing a calm, fair and adaptable approach to daily challenges.
* Creating a nurturing and safe learning environment.
About You:
* Warm, caring, patient and understanding.
* Strong grasp of the Early Years Framework and child development.
* Organised, creative and dependable.
* Confident working with young learners with SEN and/or SEMH needs.
* At least 1 year of experience working in UK schools (ESSENTIAL).

Requirements:
* Right to work in the UK
* Enhanced Child Barred List DBS (on the Update Service or willing to apply)
* Recent safeguarding training (or willingness to undertake)
