We are seeking an experienced, ambitious, and proactive individual responsible for managing a portfolio of energy futures execution and clearing clients. The role requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team, engaging directly with clients. The candidate should possess commercial acumen to maintain and develop client relationships and to generate new business flow.
Responsibilities:
* Dealing in Exchange Traded Energy Futures and Options, particularly Brent, WTI, and Oil products.
* Corresponding directly with clients, including banks, hedge funds, market makers, fund managers, institutional clients, and trading houses.
* Assisting with onboarding new clients and maintaining existing relationships, supporting related processes, and providing client updates.
* Supporting operational efficiencies and preparing necessary frameworks.
* Collaborating with operations and technology teams supporting trading activities.
* Analyzing markets and products to strategize for increased P&L.
* Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
* Adhering to the FCA’s/regulators Code of Conduct and carrying out regulatory activities.
* Liaising with clients globally, including in the US, UK, Europe, Singapore, and Dubai.
* Reporting policy breaches and escalating risks as necessary.
* Contributing to risk management processes.
Skills and Experience:
* Strong analytical skills.
* In-depth knowledge of Energy Futures markets.
* Extensive experience with ICE and CME Energy Futures.
* Proven ability to build long-term client relationships.
