Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging and interactive drama lessons to students in accordance with the national curriculum.
* Foster students' creativity, confidence, and self-expression through drama activities and performances.
* Develop and implement effective teaching strategies and resources to cater to the diverse needs of students.
* Assess and provide constructive feedback on students' performance, progress, and development.
* Collaborate with colleagues to create enriching cross-curricular projects and performances.
* Organize and coordinate drama clubs, productions, and other extracurricular activities.
* Support and guide students in preparing for drama examinations or assessments.
Requirements
* Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent certification in Drama Education.
* Proven experience in teaching Drama to primary or secondary students.
* Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment requirements.
* Passion for drama education and a commitment to nurturing students' creativity and self-confidence.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
* Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
* Strong organizational and time management skills to plan and deliver engaging lessons and manage extracurricular activities.
