Principal Clinical Psychologist (Band 7/8a)
Join the NHS as a Principal Clinical Psychologist in the CAMHS Children in Care Team in North Lincolnshire (RDASH CAMHS).
The role focuses on working with Care Experienced Young People, delivering assessment, formulation and therapeutic interventions, and providing training to foster carers.
Main Duties
* Provide specialist psychological assessment of children and young people with complex presentations and histories of trauma, loss and attachment disruption.
* Interpret and integrate information from a variety of sources.
* Act as an autonomous clinician with excellent communication skills, providing consultation to families, schools, social workers and other professionals.
* Identify and report safeguarding concerns for at‑risk children.
* Conduct risk assessments and develop risk management plans, offering specialist advice on psychological aspects.
* Formulate treatment plans for therapy or support based on evidence‑based practice.
* Implement and adjust specialist psychological therapies for individuals, carers, families and groups.
Qualifications
* Post‑graduate training (doctoral level equivalent) in clinical, counselling or forensic psychology, accredited by the BPS, or a core professional qualification with psychotherapy training to doctorate level.
* Professional registration as a Psychological Professional.
* Post‑qualification training in one or more additional specialised areas of psychological therapies.
* Experience in care coordination.
* Evidence of continuing professional development.
Desirable
* Additional post‑doctoral training in working with psychosis.
* Training in clinical supervision and supervising doctoral trainees.
Experience
* Working as a psychological professional within the designated service, across the life course and a range of clinical severities.
* Project management experience.
* Experience working with people with psychotic conditions.

Salary and Contract
Band 7 – £47,810 to £62,682 per annum, pro rata.
