Smart Education is currently recruiting for committed and adaptable Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to work across both mainstream and SEN provisions throughout the Teesside area.

What You’ll Be Doing:
* Supporting students with learning differences or behavioural needs in both mainstream and specialist settings
* Delivering one-to-one and small group interventions as guided by class teachers or SENCOs
* Helping to create a calm, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
* Encouraging social development, emotional regulation, and academic engagement
* Working closely with teachers, SEND teams, and other LSAs to provide consistent support.
What We’re Looking For:
* Experience supporting learners in a school setting (mainstream or SEN)
* A calm, encouraging, and solution-focused mindset
* A Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent experience as an LSA)
* Strong behaviour management and communication skills
* A valid Enhanced DBS (Child or Child & Adult Workforce), or willingness to apply
* A genuine interest in helping all students overcome challenges and succeed.
